A deeply healing workshop to get students intimately acquainted with various yogic breathing techniques. Students learn to identify tension/energy blockages within their own bodies and use breath to move that energy in different ways - both vigorous and gentle. Experience the power of self healing and cultivate your Qi–life force energy, through breath and moving meditations. Learn gentle, low impact movements to relax the joints and muscles, strengthen digestion, improve balance, posture, and concentration. Just one class will leave you feeling centered, revitalized, and self aware.
Harness the power of your breath and your awareness to heal yourself. In this 3-part workshop, we will utilize a variety of yogic techniques and breaths to seek out and release our energetic blockages. Whenever we fail to fully experience an emotion as it happens in the moment, the unprocessed energy of that emotion gets stuck in the body. This can happen through major trauma, accumulated micro-traumas, or whenever we have learned that certain emotions are bad or unacceptable. It is time to free yourself from that emotional baggage and your learned energetic patterns.
Part 1: Shake Up Your Chakras
With an active blend of kundalini yoga, hatha yoga, and a number of pranayama breath exercises, we will shake off nervous tension and systematically stir up latent energy through each of the chakras.
Part 2: Explore Your Body
Experience the incredible healing power of subtlety and softness as we explore breath and sensation within the body. A series of reiki-infused restorative & yin poses, supported by the generous use of bolsters and other props, invite you to sink into surrender.
Part 3: Heal Your Deepest Subconscious
In lieu of a traditional savasana, a reiki-infused yoga nidra will usher you into the deepest state of relaxation. Within the depths of yogic sleep, reprogram your limiting beliefs and release restrictive energetic ties.
