Meditation for Living in "The Pause"
After a brief intro (2:30), this 20-minute meditation begins with breath observation and slowly builds to a rhythm of inhale 4 counts – hold 8 counts – exhale 4 counts – hold 8 counts.
The more we compare our current situation to how things “used to be,” the less satisfied we are with the present. The more we try to control the unknown by mentally leaping towards an unknown future, the more anxiety we create. Once you push past the discomfort of the unknown and the agitation of stillness, you settle into a deep and enveloping feeling of peace and wellbeing.
